THE RADICAL ARCHITECTURE OF LITTLE MAGAZINES 196X–197X
APRIL 12 – SEPTEMBER 9, 2007
CANADIAN CENTRE FOR ARCHITECTURE / 1920 RUE BAILE / MONTRÉAL
Read every part of the website and know it.
This will be a significant part of our studio work throughout the summer.
We will have a tour of the exhibit with a curator or docent on a Monday when the centre is closed to the public and is all ours. Look at and familiarize yourselves with: Archigram, Lotus, Oppositions, Assemblage, Perspecta, and other pamphleteers and cartoonists mentioned in the exhibition. If you are in Montréal use the McGill Blackadder-Harrington Library. If you are in Dallas, Houston, Lubbock, San Antonio, or Austin use a university architecture library. Otherwise, get what you can from the internet. Scan any and all of this material you find and bring it to the first class meeting.
